罗教授“人活百岁不是梦”健康讲座会

沙巴华北同乡会邀请来自天津的罗伯良教授，于八月十七日晚上七点半假亚比中华工商总会礼堂主办“人活百岁不是梦” 讲座会。分享其几十年累计的健康和养生经验，免费入场以让广大的亚比区市民受惠。
主办当局亦邀请中华大会堂总会长拿督斯里邦里玛陈友仁太平局绅为主礼嘉宾。并邀请全体市民，华人同乡会成员，各机构代表，各学校师生和家长以及所有同乡踊跃出席讲座会。筹委会主席杨展之说“罗教授常在星马各地巡回演说，而且是收费的。此次之所以免费入场，全赖华北同乡会主席甲必丹张景程与罗教授的深厚友谊。因此希望公众人士珍惜机会，学习长命百岁，获得健康的秘诀和经验。”
罗伯良教授目前担任中国天津市侨联马来西亚联谊会名誉会长，于一九五三年出生于我国马六甲野新县，就读于育贤学校和马六甲培风中学；一九五二年回归祖国，就读于天津第一中学高中，一九五六年考入天津师范大学汉语言文学习本科毕业；从事教育工作达三十六年。此间，罗教授曾为马中两国民间友好，经济，文化和教育领域的交流合作做出巨大贡献。进入本世纪以来，罗教授潜心研究乐龄人士健康生活，在新型“中青老龄学” 学科颇有研究成果。
罗教授多年来为天津市老年大学及许多社区乐龄人士讲学，也应邀出访我国，为巴生千百家佛教居士林，马六甲乐龄协会及个华人社团进行养生讲座，传播科学健康理念，关爱生命和保健养生。他的讲述精辟而实际，深受听众欢迎。

With a hat that size, you will have no trouble. A group of 108 family from Northern China, from cities and provinces namely Tian jin, He Bei, Chang Zhou, Beijing, Sandong and etc, signed contract with British Government in 1913 to work as labour North Borneo ( now Sabah, Malaysia) in South East Asia. It took nearly a month for the Northern Chinese to travel across South China sea to reach the paradise of South East Asia, the North Borneo to carried out development project planned by British Government, including rubber plantation. In return, the Northern Chinese family were given monthly salary and a piece of land to settle down. Such settlement area was then named Sandong Village. Live was though but much easier compared to their homeland China, which at that time was having bloody revolution between empire of Qing Dynasty, Kuomintang party and General Yuan Shi Kai. While in paradise of North Borneo, also decribed as the Land Below The Wind by Agnes Keith, an English Author, at least the Northern Cinese had a peace of mind to earn a living, and slept well at night without disruption of gunfire.
North Borneo was then joint hand with Federal of Malaya to form Malaysia in 16th September 1963, thereby gained its independence. Since then the Northern Chinese became Malaysian. In memorial of their brave ancestor who travel a long journey from Northern China to North Borneo, and unit all community, Hua Bei Tong Xiang hui or Sabah Northern Chinese was formed.
